How to Join Pack 45 
We
have two formal recruiting events each year, one in the spring and one in the
fall. However, you can join Cub Scouts any time of the year.
Steps
to join Pack 45:

Complete paperwork: Fill out a Cub Scout
Application and a Parent Talent Survey, available from our Pack Registrar,
Barbara Reese

Pay registration fee:
When you turn in the paperwork, please
include a registration fee of $45 for Tigers, $50 for all others, which
includes the fee for a subscription to Boy’s Life Magazine. There is a $5
discount for siblings. Checks can be made out to Pack 45. You can mail the
paperwork and a check back to
Barbara Reese,
or bring it to a pack meeting, which meets once a month from September
through May, or bring it to a Pack 45 event.

Invite others: Encourage your son to invite
friends to join with him.

Help Out: Consider what role you would like
to play to help Pack 45 run. (See How Parents Can Help.)

Purchase your son’s supplies: Uniforms,
patches and Cub Scout Handbooks can be purchased at the Twin Rivers Council,
Boy Scouts of America’s Store located at 253 Washington Ave Ext., Albany,
NY 12205-5553; ph: 518-869-6436 or
online.

Please note that Pack 45 believes
that financial concerns should not prevent a boy from enjoying Cub Scouting. If
you have concerns over the cost of joining the pack, contact the
Cubmaster or
Pack Committee Chairman. All such discussions are kept strictly
confidential within the pack committee. |
